The 2024 Precision Rifle Series (PRS) Pro Series Finale, presented by Hornady, took place on November 2-3 at Snake River in Mountain Home, Idaho. This season-ending event showcased top-tier tactical shooting, and we congratulate all participants who qualified and competed at this prestigious competition. Special applause goes out to the champions who excelled across various divisions, setting new standards in precision shooting.


For those inspired to join the PRS journey, the finale’s format and qualification criteria reflect the dedication and skill needed to reach this level. Here’s a breakdown of the top performers and the qualification process for future contenders.

Open Division

Event Format and Qualification Criteria


Shooters who wish to compete in future PRS finales must qualify through the PRS National 2-Day or Regional One-Day season, requiring three match scores, including one series qualifier. Invitations are awarded to the following competitors:


  • Open Division: Top 150 Shooters

  • Tactical Division: Top 10 Shooters (Minimum)

  • Production Division: Top 5 Shooters (Minimum)

  • Gas Gun Division: Top 5 Shooters (Minimum)

  • Regional Series: Top 3 Shooters (Minimum) from each PRS Regional Series Open Division

  • Categories: Top 5 Shooters (Minimum) in Ladies, Senior, Junior, Military/Law Enforcement, and International

  • Classes: Top 5 Shooters (Minimum) from Semi-Pro, Marksman, and Amateur classes
